At Southern ENT & Sinus Center we aim to make your visit as comfortable and efficient as possible. We offer computed tomography (CT) imaging on site that has been accredited by the American College of Radiology for quality and safety standards. Our licensed CT technologist can provide imaging with and without contrast agents depending on the condition being investigated. Please let us know if you have any medical contraindications to contrast agents including, but not limited to:
- Previous allergic reaction to contrast agents
- Chronic or acute kidney disease
- Iodine/Shellfish allergy
- Metformin use
ACR Accreditation
The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field.
